Hansjoerg Knittel possesses extensive experience in IT operations and service management, currently serving as Head IT Operations & Service Executive Business Unit Switzerland at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since September 2017. Prior to this role, Hansjoerg held multiple director-level positions at Swiss Re from December 2004 to September 2017, including responsibilities for asset and configuration management, IT services and applications, IT bus architecture and integration, and service strategy and design. Educationally, Hansjoerg earned a Dipl.-Inform.(FH) degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Hochschule Furtwangen between 1987 and 1992.
