Karyn Williams

Karyn Williams is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in investment management and consultancy. Currently serving as the Regional Investment Manager for North America at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since September 2021, Karyn also founded Hightree Analytics, LLC in September 2018, which focuses on evaluating risk drivers and enhancing investment outcomes. Karyn has held various important roles, including Independent Director at BlackRock TCP Capital Corp from July 2018 to May 2023, and Head of Client Solutions at Two Sigma from July 2016 to December 2017. As Chief Investment Officer at Farmers Insurance Group of Companies from February 2013 to July 2016, Karyn managed significant investment portfolios and implemented transformative strategies. Karyn's career began at Wilshire Associates Incorporated, where Karyn served as Managing Director and Senior Investment Consultant from January 2001 to January 2013. Additionally, Karyn was a Visiting Professor of Finance at Claremont Graduate University from July 1998 to June 2001. Karyn holds a Ph.D. in Finance and Economics from Arizona State University.
