Scott Reid

Scott Reid has extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as Chair of the Health & Care Board and holding multiple roles within the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries since July 2016. In parallel, Scott has been a Global Protection & Data Actuary at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd since April 2017, focusing on the pricing and design of protection products. Previously, Scott held senior positions including Head of Pricing & Reinsurance at AIG Life Limited and Associate Director at Aon Benfield, where responsibilities included managing client relationships and developing innovative risk solutions. Earlier career experiences include roles at SCOR, Gen Re, and Scottish Widows, complemented by a 1st class honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Glasgow.
