Phil Schmalzried

Phil Schmalzried has extensive work experience in various roles at Zurn Industries, Zurn Elkay Water Solutions, and International Paper. Phil began their career at International Paper in 1992 as a Manager of Operations. In 1994, Phil joined Zurn Industries where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Business Intelligence and Integration and Lead Application Developer. Phil was responsible for managing business intelligence and integration, administering Microsoft Dynamics D365, designing and implementing modifications, maintaining interfaces with external systems, and developing reports using SSRS and Cognos. Phil joined Zurn Elkay Water Solutions in 2022 as a Lead Application Developer. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio and is currently learning to use Snowflake.

Phil Schmalzried earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Management from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus, which they attended from 1986 to 1990. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from PennWest Edinboro, where they studied from 1977 to 1981. Additionally, they hold a certification in Communicating about Culturally Sensitive Issues from LinkedIn, which they obtained in 2023.
