Ioanna Makri

Ioanna Makri is a Quality Safety Employee at Zweifel Pomy-Chips AG, where responsibilities include quality control of raw materials and final products, focusing on measurements of salt, water, fat, and sugar since May 2020. Previously, Ioanna completed a Master of Food Engineering thesis at the Agricultural University of Athens, investigating a novel fat-based system for encapsulating vitamin D3 in infant formulas. Prior experience also includes roles in research and product development at microPow AG, where the encapsulation of various components using spray-chilling techniques was a focus, and in microbiological analysis at JIOTIS, examining infant formulas and food products. Education includes a combined Bachelor's and Master's degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition from the Agricultural University of Athens, as well as a diploma in piano from Ars Musicalis.
