Jon Mayfield

Jon Mayfield is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in game development and software engineering. As Co-Founder and Head of Product at Zwift since February 2014, Jon has evolved from a multifaceted role that included programming and IT tasks to leading product development for gaming and companion applications. Previous roles include software engineer at Applied Minds, where Jon focused on graphics programming and VR, and programmer/owner at jmX Digital Productions, Inc, where game and graphics programming contracts were fulfilled. Jon also held positions as Sr Graphics Programmer at High Impact Games, Senior Programmer at Knockabout Games, and engine programmer at Acclaim, contributing to the development of several notable titles across multiple platforms. Educationally, Jon attended The University of Texas at Austin, pursuing studies in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
