Keith Prior

Keith Prior is currently a Sales Engineer at ZwitterCo. Prior to that, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineer at Detect from December 2020 to June 2022, where they were responsible for designing assembly lines to ergonomically and efficiently increase throughput of processes. Keith also created and produced test fixtures and devices to make work more conducive for engineers and biologists, and tested and documented products to troubleshoot design issues and offer optimal design changes. In addition, Keith traveled to vendors to rectify product or process problems, ensure quality control, and build company relations. Keith is experienced in 3D printing, laser cutting, laser welding, heat sealing, and CNC milling.

Previously, Keith worked as a Mechanical Engineering Intern at Hubbell Incorporated from May 2019 to August 2019. There, they led nine other interns to design, manufacture, source, forecast, and market a motion activated night light outlet receptacle, a potential new product for Hubbell Commercial and Industrial. Keith also repaired and documented test machines for conducive use on production floor, and coordinated with outside vendors and technicians to buy or repair products. In addition, Keith networked with executives in the corporate headquarters and virtually around the country.

Keith Prior has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Business Administration - MBA in Data Analytics from the University of New Haven. Keith also has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida.
