Thy Duong

Thy Duong is a polymer chemist who currently works at ZwitterCo. Thy previously worked as an undergraduate research assistant at the University of Minnesota and as a chemistry tutor at Rochester Community and Technical College.

Duong became interested in chemistry while they were completing their undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota. Thy enjoyed working in the lab and performing various purification techniques on reaction products. Thy also enjoyed characterizing the isolated products using H-NMR spectroscopy.

While working as a tutor, Duong enjoyed helping students understand challenging concepts in General Chemistry. Thy was able to help students with their homework, projects, and exam review.

Duong’s experience as a research assistant and tutor has helped their develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills. These skills have been essential in their role as a polymer chemist at ZwitterCo.

Thy Duong's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota and a Chemistry degree from Rochester Community and Technical College. Thy is currently studying at Santa Ana College.
