Mukund Thakkar

Mukund Thakkar has over 25 years of work experience in various legal and regulatory roles. Mukund currently serves as the Senior Vice President - Legal at Zydus Group since December 2016. Prior to that, they worked as the Assistant General Counsel & Group Company Secretary at Interglobe Technology Quotient P Ltd for almost a decade from August 2007 to November 2016. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager Legal at Bharti Airtel Ltd. from October 2006 to August 2007. Their experience also includes roles at Dumex India Pvt. Ltd., Zydus Group, Dua Associates, Mulla & Mulla, Centurion Bank, Dupont Sportswear Ltd., and Knoll Pharmaceuticals Ltd.

Mukund Thakkar completed their Leadership Development Program on Strategy, Change and Innovation at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2011. Before that, they earned an LLB in corporate law from Kishinchand Chellaram Law College Dinshaw Waccha Road Churchgate Mumbai 400 020, from 1991 to 2000. Mukund also obtained a CS degree in corporate law from The Institute of Company Secretaries of India from 1988 to 1993. Mukund Thakkar graduated from KPB Hinduja College with a B.Com in Economics and Accountancy from 1983 to 1988. Mukund completed their schooling at Vallabh Vividhlakshi Vidhyalaya from 1978 to 1983, where they obtained their SSC.
