Subia Bano, PhD, currently serves as Associate Manager at Zydus Group since October 2023. Prior to this role, Subia worked as a Research Scientist at Pandorum Technologies from September 2021 to October 2023, focusing on organ-on-chip systems and a Liver NASH model. Subia was a Marie Curie Individual Fellow at ELVESYS - Microfluidic Innovation Center from January 2019 to January 2021, designing microfabricated chips for a breast tumor-on-chip model aimed at drug screening. Additionally, Subia held a H2020 Individual Fellowship as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Eastern Finland from August 2016 to July 2017, studying peptide-mediated gene delivery in retinal cells. A Post Doctorate position at the Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR) from January 2015 to July 2016 also involved similar research on retinal cell lines. Subia completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Biotechnology at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, from 2009 to 2015 and was a visiting researcher at Virginia Commonwealth University from September 2012 to January 2013.
