Peter de Groot has a strong background in research and development in the field of optical metrology. Peter started their career as a Research Scientist at Perkin Elmer from 1987 to 1990, where they focused on optical metrology. Peter then moved on to work as a Research Scientist at Boeing from 1990 to 1992, continuing their work in optical metrology. In 1992, Peter joined Zygo Corporation, where they held various positions, including Executive Director of R&D and currently serves as the Chief Scientist.
