Alexandra Livernois

Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Zymeworks

Alexandra Livernois is a Senior Bioinformatics Scientist at Zymeworks Inc. since January 2021, with prior roles as a Scientist and Associate Scientist. Before joining Zymeworks, Alexandra held the position of Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Guelph from September 2017 to December 2020 and also served as a Sessional Lecturer for a course on Genomic Methods for Bioinformatics. In addition to work at the University of Guelph, Alexandra was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Applied Ecology at the University of Canberra from July 2014 to July 2016. Alexandra holds a Master of Bioinformatics from the University of Guelph and a Ph.D. in Comparative Genomics from The Australian National University, as well as a Bachelor’s Degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Guelph.
