Ari Katsiavos

Associate Director, Payroll, HRIS & Benefits at Zymeworks

Ari Katsiavos has a diverse work experience in payroll, HRIS, and benefits administration roles. In 2011, Ari started as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator at RDH Building Engineering Ltd / RDH Building Sciences Inc, and remained in that role until 2015. From 2015 to 2018, Ari worked as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator at Harper Grey LLP. In 2018, Ari joined Agreement Express Inc. as a Payroll and Benefits Administrator, and transitioned to CHC Helicopter in 2019 as a Payroll Specialist. At CHC Helicopter, Ari eventually became the Payroll Manager for North America from 2020 to 2022. Currently, Ari is working at Zymeworks Inc. as the Payroll & HRIS Manager, and will be promoted to the role of Associate Director for Payroll, HRIS & Benefits in 2023.

Ari Katsiavos pursued a certification in Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) from the Canadian Payroll Association. Starting in 2014 and ending in 2016, Ari completed the program within this time frame. Additionally, Ari successfully obtained the PCP certification from the same institution in February 2016.
