Johnny Kwan

Johnny Kwan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as Senior Manager at Zymeworks Inc. since June 2019, focusing on CMC and PIP. Prior to this role, Johnny worked as a Manager in Bioprocess Engineering from October 2017 to June 2019, and held positions such as Technical Lead and Manufacturing Associate at CMC Biologics between March 2015 and October 2017. Johnny's early career included substantial experience at Amgen from 1992 to October 2014, progressing through various roles, including Engineer and Senior Process Engineer. Johnny began the career path as a Process Development Scientist at Immunex from 1991 to 1993. Educationally, Johnny holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from the University of Washington and completed a college preparatory program at Cleveland High School.
