Nichole Escalante is a Senior Scientist and Group Lead in in vivo Pharmacology and PK at Zymeworks Inc., with extensive experience in immunology research. Previously, Nichole served as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Stanford University School of Medicine, focusing on engineered cytokines and immunotherapeutics. As a PhD candidate at the University of Toronto, Nichole investigated the role of the NLRC3 receptor in colitis and T cell function, while also contributing to teaching and training activities. Early experiences include work at the Faculty of Medicine Flow Cytometry Facility and various research and leadership roles during undergraduate studies. Nichole holds a PhD in Immunology from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University.
