Michael Adrian Rubio

Michael Adrian Rubio has four years of work experience. In 2021, they began working as a Research Technician for Zymo Research Corp. Prior to that, they were a Senior Lab Technologist at Nittobo America Inc from 2017-2021. In 2016, they were an Undergraduate Student Researcher at California State University San Marcos, where they worked closely with their PI on publicly available genetic information, using FLUCTUATE to obtain population structures on two species of lady beetles. Also in 2016, they were a Research and Development Intern at Active Motif, where they ran ChIP-seq assays on fixed mammalian cells, performed library prep using the SWIFT Library Prep Kit, performed ChIP on FFPE, culturing and transfecting mammalian cells, and performed Qubit, TapeStation, and qPCR on samples.

Michael Adrian Rubio attended California State University San Marcos from 2010 to 2017, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology.
