Aj Gomez

Aj Gomez is the SVP of Finance at Zype. Prior to joining Zype, Aj was the Chief Financial Officer at WeDemand / Queremos from April 2015 to December 2017. In this role, Aj led financial, strategic and operational planning for a 15 person team. Aj also oversaw the customer success strategy and was responsible for generating new business leads.

Before their role at WeDemand / Queremos, Aj was an Analyst at Lavien Group LLC from March 2014 to March 2015. In this role, they composed investment memos summarizing industry trends, company attributes, financial analysis and investment rationale. Aj also evaluated investment opportunities and monitored portfolio companies for a global private equity firm focused on the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sectors.

Prior to their role at Lavien Group LLC, Aj was an Associate at Quadrangle Group from October 2012 to March 2015. In this role, they assisted in a range of transactions including direct investments, recaps, corporate restructuring and bolt-on acquisitions. Aj also worked with management teams to evaluate financial and operational initiatives.

Aj began their career as an Analyst at Morgan Stanley from June 2010 to September 2012.

Aj Gomez attended Rice University, where they majored in civil engineering. Afterwards, they obtained a certification from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) in Series 79.

Aj Gomez reports to Ed Laczynski, CEO. They work with Lauren Chadwick - SVP, Marketing, Michael Kurtzman - CRO, and Shikha Arora - EVP, Engineering.
