Santi Agüero

Santi Agüero has a broad range of work experience, starting in 2011 at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer and Technical Marketing Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a System Design Assistant at Universidad Tecnologica Nacional. From 2017 to 2020, they worked at McAfee as a DevOps and Software Engineer, where they were responsible for porting the product into AWS gov-cloud region and leading the process, documentation, and implementation. In 2020, they worked at devgurus as a Senior DevOps, leading infrastructure scalable designs and working in pairs with developers to foster a DevOps culture. Since 2021, they have been working at Zype as a DevOps and SRE, leading and adapting the Google SRE culture and practices across the teams, working on Varnish to handle 1M requests/minute for video streaming, and working as a Data Engineer to improve the Data Pipeline implemented in GCP BigQuery.

Santi Agüero completed their Information System Engineer degree from the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional in 2011. Santi then obtained a Certified Kubernetes Application Developer certification from The Linux Foundation in April 2020 and an Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in April 2019.
