1. Hulu’s Jim Denney to be Chief Product Officer at Peacock
NBCUniversal said Tuesday that former Hulu exec Jim Denney will join the company as EVP and Chief Product Officer, Direct-to-Consumer for its streaming service, Peacock. He will report to President of Director-to-Consumer Gidon Katz.
2. Raytheon Technologies Names New Chairman One Year After Merger
Raytheon Technologies has announced that the Executive Chairman of its Board of Directors, Thomas A. Kennedy, has made the decision to retire effective June 1, 2021.

FOX Corporation has selected its first Chief Growth Officer, Steve Chung, as the company eyes opportunities in new digital spaces. His new role will place him in charge of identifying and developing new digital business opportunities across existing and emerging growth categories.
4. Verizon Appoints New Public Sector Boss
Verizon named Jennifer Chronis as SVP of Verizon Public Sector, effective immediately. As the leader of the US telecommunciations giant’s public sector team, Chronis will be responsible for partnering with federal, state, local, education and public safety customers to deliver technology solutions and services.
5. ByteDance CFO to Take Over as CEO of TikTok
Shouzi Chew, ByteDance’s recently hired CFO, is adding a new title to his job description: CEO of TikTok. Vanessa Pappas, Tiktok’s interim CEO, will now become the app’s COO.
6. State Street Appoints Chief Architect to Build Crypto Capabilities
State Street has named Aman Thind as its EVP and Global Chief Architect. He will primarily be tasked with leading the strategy and implementation of the firm’s technology transformation and interoperable infrastructure. But will also play an integral role in building State Street’s capabilities in digital, crypto, and other digitally-led technologies.
7. ABC News Loses Communications Head as New President Arrives
After almost 7 years on the job, Julie Townsend announced she will step down as the Head of Communications for Disney’s ABC News on May 14, according to a report by Deadline.
8. Credit Suisse Shareholders Want Gottschling Out
Investors of Credit Suisse are opposing the reelection of its risk chairman, Andreas Gottschling, after scandals that have tarnished the company’s reputation.
9. Barbara Levi Replaces Markus Diethelm as Group General Counsel of UBS
Markus Diethelm, Group General Counsel of UBS, is stepping down from his role on November 1. He will be succeeded by Barbara Levi, the Chief Legal Officer and External Affairs at Rio Tinto Group.
10. Nomura Names Former JP Morgan Exec as Co-CEO of Americas
Nomura Holdings, a principal member of the Nomura Group, announced that JP Morgan exec Christopher Willcox will serve as President and CEO of Nomura Securities International and Nomura Global Financial Products starting May 3. He will also be named Co-CEO and Senior Managing Director of Nomura Americas.
