On Thursday, Adobe announced that Anil Chakravarthy and David Wadhwani would take on new roles at the storied software company. The company also revealed that its CTO, Abhay Parasnis, will depart in February 2022.
Chakravarthy had been the EVP and GM for Adobe’s Digital Experience Business and Worldwide Field Operations but will now serve as President of Adobe’s Digital Experience.
Wadhwani, who had served as the company’s Chief Business Officer and EVP of Digital Media, has been named President of Adobe’s Digital Media business.
In a press release, Adobe Chairman and CEO Shantanu Narayen said, “I have immense confidence in both leaders and look forward to continuing to work with them and the rest of our executive team as we execute on our strategy to unleash creativity for all, accelerate document productivity and power digital businesses across the globe.”
In their respective leadership roles, Chakravarthy and Wadhwani will oversee strategy and execution for their business units as Adobe continues to invest in growth initiatives.
The two take on their news roles on the back of a quarter of growth for the company. Adobe revealed that in the company’s fourth fiscal quarter (ended December 3, 2021), its revenue jumped 20% to $4.11 billion, anchored by its digital media unit, which posted 21% growth.
