Netflix

As Netflix pushes ahead with its $83 billion bid for Warner Bros. Discovery, the company has hired former Instacart Chief Corporate Affairs Officer Dani Dudeck as its new Chief Communications Officer. The move comes as Hollywood grows uneasy about a legacy studio falling into the hands of a tech giant blamed for accelerating cinema’s decline. The deal faces added pressure from a rival $108 billion bid by Paramount Skydance and increasing regulatory scrutiny over the creation of a media giant that could control nearly half of the streaming market.
