HubSpot has selected Rob Giglio as the next leader of the customer relationship management (CRM) platform’s revenue operations, sales, marketing and services teams, otherwise known as its flywheel organization.

Giglio’s official title at the CRM provider is Chief Customer Officer, which places him on the company’s Executive Leadership team. He is responsible for advancing HubSpot's go-to-market motion and solving for the customer to create a streamlined experience across the company's platform.

Giglio is an experienced global marketing and sales executive with over 20 years of experience at major tech firms and consumer product companies. Most recently, he spent two years as the Chief Marketing Officer at DocuSign. Before that, Giglio was a long-time Adobe executive and led the global sales and go-to-market team for its Digital Media business unit. He also held senior management roles at Gap, Williams-Sonoma, Clorox and Procter & Gamble.

"Rob is an experienced go-to-market leader who has driven real scale while keeping the customer at the center,” HubSpot CEO Yamini Rangan said in the company’s press release. “He brings deep cross-functional expertise to HubSpot that will be instrumental in aligning our flywheel teams and delighting our customers."

HubSpot’s newest hire has joined the team just a week after the launch of its new and enhanced Service Hub customer service software. It will be on Giglio and his entire flywheel organization to capitalize on this improved product to continue HubSpot’s rapid growth into 2022.

In 2021, the CRM company saw its revenue jump 47% year-over-year to $1.3 billion. This year the company has raised the bar even higher and anticipates its full-year revenue to be in the range of $1.72 billion to $1.73 billion.

However, Giglio’s team will have to mend bridges and overcome potential barriers caused by a recent data breach that reportedly exposed client information from prominent crypto firms including Circle, BlockFi and NYDIG.
