Workplace Tech

Phunware, a fully-integrated enterprise cloud platform for mobile, hired Matt Lull as the Company’s first-ever Executive Vice President and Chief Cryptocurrency Officer. Prior to joining Phunware, Lull was the Managing Director of Technology Strategy for Cloud Innovation Partners at Citrix Systems.

PlanSource, a technology company that automates every aspect of employee benefit programs, selected Ewan Auguste as Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining PlanSource, Auguste was the Head of Global Marketing Operations and Technology at Adobe.

Weave, an all-in-one customer communications and engagement software platform, named Brett White as President and COO. White formerly served as the COO and CFO at Mindbody.

enaible, an AI productivity platform, appointed Chris Sacco as its first Chief Revenue Officer. Prior to enaible, Sacco was the VP for Strategic Engagement at UiPath.

AppLovin, a marketing software company, recruited Christina Seafort as Chief People Officer. She most recently served as Amazon’s Head of HR/Global Mergers and Acquisitions.

Postclick, an advertising conversion cloud provider, announced today Hunter Sunrise has been promoted from VP of Marketing to SVP and Head of Marketing.

LeanData, a revenue orchestration platform, appointed Franco Anzini as COO. He was most recently VP of Revenue Operations at Malwarebytes.

Benefitfocus, a cloud-based benefits administration company, announced that Morgan Stanley executive Kristin Adams will serve as its EVP and Chief People Officer.

Fintech

ZenLedger, a cryptocurrency data analysis, accounting, and tax software provider, hired former CIA officer Duyane Norman as Chief Strategy Officer and former Bitpay executive Daniel D. Escobar as CTO. ZenLedger also appointed Jonté Harrell as CFO and Greg Adams as COO.

SuperNet, a payment network for cannabis merchants and consumers, hired John Pfisterer, the former CFO at Paya and Divisional CFO at Capital One, as CFO.

Health Tech

Teladoc Health, a virtual care provider, named Dr. Vidya Raman-Tangella as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Raman-Tangella joins Teladoc Health from AWS, where she served as general manager of healthcare and life sciences solutions.

Truepill, a digital health platform that connects telehealth, diagnostics, and pharmacy infrastructure, hired Ana Schrank will serve as its first CFO. Schrank joins Truepill after serving as CFO at Collective Health.

WellSky, a leading health and community care technology company, picked Dale Zurbay as its Chief Growth Officer. Zurbay most recently worked as SVP of Sales, Healthcare at Nuance Communications.

Butterfly Network, a digital health company, appointed Heather Getz as EVP and CFO, effective May 2. Getz joins the company from BioTelemetry, where she served as EVP and Chief Financial and Administrative Officer.

EdTech

Web Courseworks, a SaaS LearnTech company, appointed former Propeller Health leader Mark Sehmer as their first-ever CTO.

Noodle, an online learning network, appointed Catie Starr as Chief Marketing Officer. She most recently served as SVP of Growth Marketing at OppFi.

E-Commerce

Simple Tire, an online tire retailer, revealed that CEO Andy Chalofsky will depart Simple Tire. The company has promoted President Karthik Iyer to the expanded role of President and CEO.

TrueCar, an online marketplace for new and used vehicles, hired Jill Angel as Chief People Officer. Angel was most recently the EVP of People at Leaf Group.

Orderinbox, a social NFT marketplace for the metaverse, added Paul Eastwood as VP of Sports and Entertainment. Eastwood joins Orderinbox from Gigr Entertainment & Technology where he was Head of Marketing & Business Development.

Media Tech

JW Player, an online video platform for video-led businesses, appointed Phil Harrell as Chief Revenue Officer. He most recently served as VP and Group Director of Sales Research at Forrester.

Redbox, an entertainment company, today announced that Kavita Suthar will step down from her role as CFO, effective May 16, 2022. Mitchell Cohen, who has served as COO and CFO at several public and private companies, will serve as interim CFO.

Scribd, an online subscription service that offers ebooks, audiobooks, magazines and podcasts, selected Laura Malinasky as its Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Most recently, Malinasky was the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and Corporate Secretary at Planet Labs.

Transportation Tech

Xos, an electric vehicle manufacturer, named Jessica Ramirez as its VP of Human Resources. Before Xos, Ramirez led HR at Whiplash.

Passport, a transportation software and payments company, appointed D. Burt Arrington as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Arrington joins Passport from the law firm of Squire Patton Boggs.

Zoomo, an electric last-mile delivery vehicle startup, hired Jules Flynn as COO. Flynn previously led New York's Citi Bike program and Lyft's U.S. bike and scooter program.

TEZ Technology, an app-free parking software and payments company, appointed Executive Chairman Mike Simmons as its next CEO. Simmons previously founded and scaled T2 Systems.

Waze, the Google-owned route mapping app, has appointed Harris Beber as Chief Marketing Officer. Beber previously served as Vimeo’s CMO.

Logistics Tech

Nuvocargo, a digital platform focused on U.S.-Mexico cross-border trade, hired fromer Flexport customs executive Jay Gerard as Head of Customs.

PowerFleet, an IoT solutions provider to track enterprise assets, appointed Patrick Maley as the company’s new Chief Revenue Officer and U.S. General Manager. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer at BluJay Solutions.

Cybersecurity

CybelAngel, an external risk protection platform, selected Steve Malecha as VP of Global Partners and Alliances. Malecha was previously the VP of Sumo Logic's Americas Partner Sales Team.

IT

EDO, a data, measurement, and analytics software company, appointed James Zaumeyer as SVP and Head of Revenue. Prior to EDO, Zaumeyer served as VP of Sales for Oracle’s Moat product suite.

Riverbed Technology, a network and application performance and visibility platform, hired Tom Pickett as CFO. Pickett most recently served as the CFO at Zapproved.

Blackbaud, a cloud software provider for non-profits, is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles "Chuck" Miller as Chief Information Security Officer. Miller most recently served as senior vice president of cybersecurity at Truist.

Internet

Foursquare today announced the appointment of Marjorie Janiewicz as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Janiewicz most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at HackerOne.

Shutterstock, a global creative platform, hired Jason McClelland as Chief Marketing Officer and Christopher 'Skip' Wilson as VP of Brand Marketing. McClelland previously served in senior marketing roles at Adobe and Wilson led Peloton's Global Brand and Communications for its Commercial business.

Connectivity

Verizon, the US telecom giant, selected Christina Schelling as SVP of Talent and Diversity. Most recently, Schelling was Head of Human Resources for Global Corporate Functions at The Estée Lauder Companies.

Frontier, a connectivity provider, hired former Vodafone executive Vishal Dixit as its Chief Strategy Officer.

Proptech

Vivint Smart Home, a smart home company, appointed Rasesh Patel as COO. Patel joins Vivint after having served as Chief Product and Platform Officer for AT&T Business.

PunchListUSA, a marketplace to digitize home inspection data, appointed Danielle Alexander as VP of Enterprise Operations and Dan Vercek as VP of Field Operations.

Semiconductor Manufacturers

Semtech Corporation, a supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, Julie McGee as SVP and Chief Marketing Officer. McGee joins Semtech from Intel, where she served as Corporate Vice President of Marketing.

Qualcomm, a semiconductor design firm, promoted Jim Cathey from SVP and President of Global Business for Qualcomm Technologies to Chief Commercial Officer.
