Carlo J. Bos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.

Carlo J. began their career as a Computer Operator II at Intermountain Healthcare, where they were responsible for after-hours operations of various systems. Concurrently, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science at the University of Utah.

Carlo then worked as a Software Engineer at Cimarron Software, where they developed workflow systems for genetic research and headed training sessions on Java and API. Carlo J. later joined Sorenson Communications as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily working on Sorenson VRS, a video relay system for the deaf.

After that, Carlo joined Software Technology Group as a Senior Software Consultant, where they contributed to the development of the Global Property Management system. Carlo J. utilized agile software development methodologies and technologies like J2SE, JSP, Servlets, and Oracle.

Carlo J. then worked as a Software Consultant at GGB Medical Management Services, Inc., where they troubleshooted and fixed a medical coding adapter system.

Currently, Carlo is serving as the Director of Software Engineering & eCommerce at 1-800 Contacts. In this role, they provide coaching, strategic leadership, and architectural guidance. Carlo J. is also responsible for development in various technologies, such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, AngularJS, C#, WCF, REST, .Net Core, Web API, HTML, CSS, SQL, and DevOps. Carlo J. has supported different areas of the business, including business development, 3rd party integration, online exams, private brand, call center, shipping, receiving, and purchasing.

Carlo J. Bos has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Utah, which they earned from 1994 to 1999. Carlo J. also has an Associate's degree in Information Systems from De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences, obtained from 1993 to 1994. Recently, they completed their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in IT Management from Western Governors University, which they pursued between 2013 and 2015. Furthermore, they hold a certification as a Sun Certified Java Programmer (SCJP 1.4) from Sun Microsystems, acquired in 2005.
