Bob Athwal

Bob Athwal possesses extensive experience in higher education, recruitment, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Currently leading DEI, employer brand, and early careers initiatives globally at Skyscanner since February 2019, Bob also co-founded both the 1 Hour Project and The Student Job Coach, focusing on supporting underrepresented students and aiding institutions in enhancing their campus recruitment strategies. Previous roles include Pro Provost for Student Experience and External Engagement at GSM London, Director of Student Experience at the University of Leicester, and various leadership positions in graduate recruitment at RWE npower and graduate-jobs.com. Bob holds a PhD in Sociology from the University of Leicester, an Executive MBA from the University of Southampton, and a BSc in Business Systems Modelling from the University of Greenwich.
