John Augusterfer III has a diverse work experience starting from 2005. John initially worked as an Information Technology Developer at USLI, where they updated queries for underwriters and handled server maintenance. John then joined Verizon as a Service Technician from 2006 to 2010. Following this, they worked as a Telecommunications Technician for a year, running phone/data cabling and troubleshooting infrastructure.

In 2011, John transitioned to education and became a Mathematics Teacher at Chesterfield County Public Schools. John facilitated student-led learning and provided additional tutoring support.
