Jens Durruthy Durruthy

Jens Durruthy Durruthy has extensive experience in product management and investment in the biotech sector, currently serving as Director of Product Management at 10x Genomics since September 2016. Previously, Durruthy held the position of LSA Bio/Genomics Fellow at Life Science Angels, focusing on investment opportunities in biotech and medical device startups while gaining deep insights into in vitro diagnostics and liquid biopsies. Durruthy has contributed to academia as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Stanford University, specializing in single-cell biology and transcriptomics. Additional roles include consulting for ESI BIO on stem cell technologies and participation in entrepreneurial programs at Stanford Graduate School of Business. Durruthy holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Stanford University and a Diploma in Medical Biotechnology from Technische Universität Berlin.
