Kala (Karolina) Janowska

Kala (Karolina) Janowska has a diverse range of work experiences. In 2015, they worked as a Contracts Coordinator (Part Time) for Triacle Clinical Services, where their responsibilities included facilitating contract negotiations, translating agreements, and communicating with international sites. From 2018 to 2020, they served as a Programming Tutor at HTW Berlin, offering additional programming classes to students and assisting them with problem-solving and understanding programming concepts. In 2019, they worked as a Programming and Game Design Support Intern at Mad About Pandas, where they were involved in the final production stages of the game Hitchhiker and provided support in various programming tasks and game design. Currently, they are working as a Junior Game Designer at 11 bit studios S.A. starting from August 2021.

Kala (Karolina) Janowska has a diverse education history. Kala (Karolina) attended the XIII Grammar School in Szczecin from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a Polish A-level equivalent degree. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Exeter from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Classics. Kala then pursued their interest in game design and attended the Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin from 2017 to 2021, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Game Design. In addition to their academic accomplishments, Kala has also achieved certifications in English language proficiency. Kala (Karolina) passed the CPE examination with a grade of C and obtained an average grade of 7.5 in the IELTS certification.
