Johannes Tiemer

Johannes Tiemer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to the present. Johannes currently holds the position of Lead Data Scientist & Data Architect at 11880 Internet Services AG since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked at the same company as a Data Scientist & Data Engineer from January 2021 to April 2022. Before joining 11880 Internet Services AG, they worked as a Data Scientist from November 2019 to December 2020, where they focused on natural language processing, knowledge graph, predictive analytics, deep learning, machine learning, advanced statistics, and data processes and architecture design and implementation.

Before their roles in data science, Johannes worked as a Project Manager and Managing Director at SWP Research from November 2015 to October 2019. Johannes also worked as a Researcher/PhD Student at the University of Duisburg-Essen from 2012 to 2018. In earlier stages of their career, they gained experience through internships at Sparkasse Allgäu in both management and human resources roles in 2009, as well as a management internship at FSFE in 2008.

Johannes Tiemer has a Master of Science (German Diplom) in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics from Kiel University, which they obtained from 2004 to 2011. Johannes also has additional certifications as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) and a Scrum Master Certified (SMC) from Scrum.org. In addition, they have attended various short-term programs and courses in fields such as agent-based modeling, network science, complex systems, statistics/econometrics, and management from institutions such as Ruhr University Bochum, University of Oxford, Marche Polytechnic University, Ancona, University of Copenhagen, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), and Zhejiang University of Science & Technology.
