Kevin Chu

Kevin Chu has over 15 years of experience in software engineering, web development, and database management. Kevin began their career in 2005 as a Web and App Architect at MVE & Partners, where they developed, maintained, and supported Intranet web applications, company websites, and SQL Server databases. In 2009, they joined USRES as a Senior .NET Developer, where they developed web applications with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC 2, C#, Castle Windsor, SQL Server, MySQL, AJAX, JQuery, and CSS. That same year, they also founded 88 Methods, where they managed a graphic design team and worked with various technologies to provide web, database, application, SEO, and graphical services for a diverse client base. In 2010, Kevin was a Technical Lead at Tribune Company, leading a team of 2 onsite developers and 4 offshore developers to develop a public-facing website for multiple business units. In 2011, they founded SpecialH, a cloud-based social web application. Finally, from 2013 to present, Kevin has held the roles of VP of Software Engineering and Director of Software Engineering at 12twenty.

Kevin Chu attended UC Irvine from 2000-2005 where they earned a BS and BA in Information and Computer Science, Economics, and Management (Minor). In 2004, they also attended The University of Hong Kong for Economics.
