Rachel Smith

Rachel Smith is an accomplished IT Project Manager currently working with 18 Week Support since December 2024. Prior to this role, Rachel held multiple leadership positions at KYN from January 2020 to November 2024, including Head of Innovation and Data and Head of Information Technology. Rachel's extensive experience in project management and systems management was further developed at Orchard Care Homes, where various roles were undertaken from October 2013 to January 2020, culminating as Head Of Project Management. Rachel began the professional journey as a Temporary HR Administrator at International Personal Finance and as an Apprentice Training Assistant at Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust. Educational credentials include a PRINCE2 Practitioner certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice, a Foundation in Business Analysis from QA, and several qualifications in Human Resource Management from CIPD and Leeds City College.
