Steven Wolfe has gained extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Steven began their career at Starbucks as a Shift Supervisor, where they managed a team, tracked inventory and sales, and trained new employees. Steven then transitioned to Boeing as a Research & Technology Intern Engineer, where they conducted heat transfer analysis, performed testing and analysis for advanced manufacturing processes, and assisted in document editing.

Following their role at Boeing, Steven joined Saint Louis University as a Teaching Assistant, supporting students in data acquisition hardware and LabVIEW software usage, as well as assisting in coursework presentation and grading. Steven also took on multiple roles within the university, including working on a Senior Design Project where they collaborated with the chairman of the neurosurgery department to design a surgical armrest, created 3D models, produced prototypes, and evaluated the process using Lean Product Development tools. Additionally, as a Space Systems Research Volunteer, they contributed to research in space systems.

Steven then worked at Neptune Technology Group as a Mechanical Design Engineer, utilizing Python for data analysis and informing engineering decisions. Steven also wrote test plans, designed 3D CAD models and drawings, and played a key role in the development of patented technology. At Daugherty Business Solutions, they served as a Consultant, supporting data pipelines for decision science, communicating with end users to understand requirements, and migrating data warehouse to Google BigQuery, resulting in improved performance and estimated time savings.

Most recently, Steven worked at Presidio as a Data Engineer, providing recommendations and best practices for client Azure environments, analyzing Azure SQL Database environments, resolving database replication issues, and contributing to client satisfaction. Steven is currently working at 1904labs as a Data Engineer. With their diverse experience and skills in data engineering and mechanical design, Steven is well-equipped for their future professional endeavors.

Steven Wolfe received their Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Louis University, where they studied from 2014 to 2016. Prior to this, they completed their Associate's Degree in Engineering Science at Saint Louis Community College-Florissant Valley from 2012 to 2014. In addition to their formal education, Steven has obtained several certifications including Azure Data Fundamentals and Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2022 and April 2022 respectively, as well as the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon in February 2022.
