Liping Wu

Liping Wu, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of biology and molecular sciences, currently serving as the Associate Director of Biology and Principal Scientist at 1910 Genetics since November 2022. Prior roles include Deputy Head of R&D at Prestige Biopharma Group from July 2021 to June 2022, and Chief Scientific Officer at Cell Assay Innovations, INC. from July 2011 to July 2021. Liping Wu also held positions as Scientist III and Head of Molecular Biology and Microbiology at New England Pharmassociates and as a Senior Scientist at Biosence Technologies, Inc. Earlier experience includes serving as Scientist II at Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from The Australian National University, an MS in Cell Biology from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Hunan Normal University.
