Jessica Rodriguez

Jessica joined One Degree because she believes that having easy access to resources plays an important role in the daily lives of individuals and families seeking a path out of poverty. Prior to joining One Degree, Jessica worked at a nonprofit supporting undocumented immigrant survivors of crime and domestic violence in the Bay Area with legal services. Previously, she coordinated relief efforts for migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers in Mexico City. Through her volunteer work with the Chicanx Latinx Student Development Office at UC Berkeley, Jessica contributed her Spanish-lanaguage skills to empower recently immigrated Chicanx/Latinx students to pursue higher education. In her spare time, she enjoys reading a good book, visiting museums and likes to dabble in flower photography.
