John Tait

John Tait has a diverse work experience in the field of professional services, technical consulting, and network administration. John'smost recent position is as the VP of Professional Services at 1E, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Professional Services Manager at Aqua Security from 2021 to 2022.

From 2015 to 2021, John worked at VMware Carbon Black, where they held several roles, including Professional Services Manager - EMEA, Senior Manager of Technical Services - EMEA & APJ, Manager of Technical Services - EMEA & APJ, and Technical Services Consultant. In these positions, they led implementation services, managed a team of consultants, provided technical guidance and product training to customers, and developed new service delivery packages.

Before joining VMware Carbon Black, John worked as a Technical Consultant at Bytes Security Partnerships from 2011 to 2014, where they provided on-site consultancy and pre-sales support. John also served as a Network Administrator at ESRI (UK) from 2005 to 2011, where they managed WAN networks, firewall administration, VPNs, and provided technical support.

Earlier in their career, John worked as a Network Support Engineer at Topology UK Ltd in 2004, a Systems Support Engineer at Static Control Components (Europe) Ltd in 2003, and a DSMC NT Network Infrastructure Engineer at EDS Technologies from 2000 to 2002. John also held the roles of ICT Coordinator at SENSTRONICS LIMITED in 1999 and IT Support Engineer at Spark Response in 1999.

John Tait completed a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Software Engineering at Teesside University from 1995 to 1997. John also obtained additional certifications in 2021, including VMware Carbon Black EndPoint Protection 2021 and VMware Certified Technical Associate - Security 2021 from VMware.
