Alison Lipman

As the Chief People Officer at 1stdibs, Alison oversees all people functions for the company, with a focus on aligning the business strategy with the people strategy, and creating a great employee experience.

Alison has held people leadership roles in Tech companies including Amazon Web Services, Shopbop, an Amazon Company, and Shutterstock. Prior to her time in Tech, Alison worked in the Investment Banking Industry initially focusing on Diversity and Inclusion, and then later moving to focus on strategic business partnership.

Alison holds a B.A. in Psychology from American University, a M.S. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Baruch College, and has also completed a certification in Organizational Coaching at NYU.
