MacKenzie Fahlgren

Mackenzie Fahlgren is a professional with diverse experience in environmental regulation and renewable energy design. Currently serving as a Stream Channel Protection Specialist at the Idaho Department of Water Resources since January 2021, Mackenzie regulates stream channel alteration projects in eastern Idaho, reviews plans, and ensures compliance with state regulations. Additionally, Mackenzie has worked as a Residential PV Designer at 1st Light Energy Inc since July 2018 and has been a Research Assistant at the University of California Riverside's Walling Lab since January 2015, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Botany with a specialization in genomics and biochemistry. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of Design at Triple Line Solar from February 2013 to September 2014. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Plant Sciences from the University of California, Riverside, completed in 2017, and graduated from Murrieta Mesa High School in 2014.
