Wycliffe Ngatia

Wycliffe Ngatia has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and industries.

From 2016 to 2016, they worked as a Database Administrator & Web App Developer Intern at Lexicom Computer Systems.

In 2018, they joined Comprite Kenya Limited as a Software Engineer, where they developed and maintained an in-house use case information management system. Wycliffe also performed QA and testing, collaborated with the technical team on website development, and integrated Pay100 Payroll System with partner platforms.

From 2020 to 2021, Wycliffe served as the Head of Investment and Digital Strategy at Merino Real Estate. Their responsibilities included managing the investment and plots department, formulating and implementing online digital strategies, providing ICT support, and maintaining the books of account.

In 2022, they founded PrenCom Solutions, where they took on the role of Founder & Team Lead. At PrenCom Solutions, they focused on software engineering, developing secure and market-competitive desktop, online, and mobile applications. Additionally, they were involved in software development QA and test engineering.

Also in 2022, Wycliffe worked as a Constituency ICT Official at the Independent Electoral & Boundaries Commission (IEBC). Their responsibilities included providing first-level ICT support, restoring normal services, preparing and testing KIEMS kits for elections.

Currently, Wycliffe is a Software Quality Assurance Engineer at 20NINE, starting in 2023.

Wycliffe Ngatia attended St. Joseph's High School from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their KCSE. After completing high school, they went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Computer Science & Technology at Meru University of Science and Technology from 2014 to 2019.

In addition to their formal education, Wycliffe Ngatia also acquired several certifications. In September 2019, they obtained the Fundamentals of Digital Marketing Certification from Google Digital Skills For Africa, as well as the Corporate IT Strategy And Business Frameworks certification from Alison - Free Online Learning. Wycliffe also earned a jQuery UI Certification from Udemy in the same month. Prior to that, in August 2019, Wycliffe achieved the Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect certification from Google.
