Nikita Smith, MBA, aPHR, currently serves as the Director of Human Resources at 23XI Racing, overseeing daily HR operations and collaborating with senior leadership to align staffing and cultural initiatives with organizational goals. Prior experience includes roles as Human Resources Manager and Benefits Specialist at the Charlotte Hornets, where responsibilities involved managing employee benefits and participating in leadership decisions regarding benefit plan design. Prior to that, at Carolina Meadows, Inc., Nikita focused on administering comprehensive employee benefits and overseeing new hire onboarding. Additional experience includes working at Durham Public Schools as a Lead Deduction Specialist and as an HR Associate at Grifols, handling employee inquiries and benefits administration. An accomplished professional, Nikita holds a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from North Carolina Central University.

23XI Racing – pronounced twenty-three eleven – was founded by NBA legend Michael Jordan and three-time Daytona 500 winner Denny Hamlin in 2020. Rising NASCAR stars Bubba Wallace and Tyler Reddick are the team’s drivers. 23XI Racing’s No. 23 Toyota Camry made its NASCAR Cup Series debut at the Daytona 500 on February 14, 2021, at Daytona International Speedway. The team then expanded to add a second full-time entry with the No. 45 Toyota Camry and occasional third car entry with the No. 67 Toyota Camry.
