Yu Saito

Yu Saito has a diverse range of work experience in the finance industry. Yu started their career as an Associate Director at Daiwa Securities in 2012 and later moved to Daiwa Capital Markets America Inc. as an Associate Director in 2015. From 2016 to 2019, they worked as an Associate Director at Daiwa Securities, specializing in proprietary trading in the Japanese stock market. In 2019, they joined Tradea Inc. and YJFX as a Proprietary Trader, where they helped build up the prop trading platform for the subsidiary prop house. Yu then worked as a Currency Trader at GMO Financial Holdings, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, and later at GMO-Z.com Trade UK Limited from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for significant daily cover dealing. In addition to their finance experience, Yu Saito has also been involved in sports as a Red Bull Ice Cross Athlete and served as the Chairman Of The Board for the Japan Ice Cross Downhill Federation. Most recently, they became a Director at Electronic Trading & Execution for 26 Degrees in 2023.

Yu Saito obtained a Bachelor's degree in Science and Engineering from Waseda University in 2009. Yu then went on to complete a Master's degree in Financial Engineering from Hitotsubashi University between 2009 and 2011.
