Josiah Musembi Mutuku

Josiah joined 2Blades in July 2022, from his previous role as Director of Research at the Central and West African Virus Epidemiology (WAVE) Institute based in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire. There he helped to implement a science strategy across 10 Central and West African countries. Before joining WAVE, Josiah worked at the Biosciences eastern and central Africa-International Livestock Research Institute (BecA-ILRI) Hub in Nairobi, Kenya. Josiah was awarded the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) fellowship while at the Riken, Yokohama Institute, Japan. Josiah obtained his PhD from Kagoshima University.
