Louis Yang

Louis Yang has over 16 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. Louis currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at 2degrees, where they have been working since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Vector Limited as a Network Architect - Managed Services from August 2021 to January 2022. From 2013 to 2021, Louis worked at Vodafone New Zealand, first as an IP Network Engineer and later as a Network Design Engineer - IP DevOps. Before that, they were employed at TelstraClear as an IP Network Engineer and Voice Network Engineer from 2006 to 2013. Louis began their career at Globe.Net Communications as a Technical Staff member from November 2005 to March 2006.

Louis Yang earned a Bachelor of Engineering Technology in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Massey University from 2003 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained various certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in November 2023 and Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP Routing and Switching) from Cisco in April 2015. Louis also holds certifications from Juniper Networks, including Juniper Networks Certified Professional, Data Center (JNCIP-DC) obtained in 2022, Juniper Networks Certified Specialist, Enterprise Routing & Switching (JNCIS-ENT) obtained in 2020, and Juniper Networks Certified Associate, Junos (JNCIA-Junos) obtained in July 2017. Louis has also pursued additional certifications in cybersecurity, cloud computing, and enterprise architecture.
