John Riches

John Riches has over 30 years of work experience in various leadership roles within the IT industry. John is currently serving as the Senior Director of IT Operations, EUS, and Security at 2seventy bio since November 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Director at Gossmore Ltd from 2012 to 2022. John also held the position of Director/Senior Consultant at TPP Global Services Ltd from 2019 to 2021. Before that, they served as the VP/Senior Director of IT End User Services at Verifone from 2014 to 2019. Additionally, they worked as a Director at TPP Global Services Ltd from 2009 to 2014. Earlier in their career, they held the role of VP of IT End User Services at PTC from 1996 to 2009. John started their career as an IT Manager at Lotus Development (UK) in 1987.

John Riches completed their education at Imperial College London from 1978 to 1981. John obtained a B.Sc (Eng) Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering during this period.
