Yige Wu

Yige Wu has a diverse work experience in the field of biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Yige is currently working at 2seventy bio as an Associate Director, where they are responsible for vector process development. Prior to this, Yige Wu worked at bluebird bio as a Senior Scientist, where they supported regulatory filings and led process development activities for lentiviral vector manufacturing. Yige also worked at AbbVie as a Sr Scientist I, focusing on antibody-drug conjugation projects. Yige Wu's earlier experience includes working at the University of Virginia as a PH.D Candidate, conducting research on protein and virus-like particle separation, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant. Yige also served as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the Protein Chromatography Short Course, where they taught theory and supervised laboratory experiments.

Yige Wu completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering at Tsinghua University from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2011, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Virginia. Yige Wu's education journey culminated with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering, also from the University of Virginia, which they completed from 2011 to 2014.
