Matthew Dickason

Matthew Dickason has a comprehensive work experience spanning various industries and roles. Matthew started as a Youth Pastor at St John's Methodist Church in 1993 and later became a General Manager at Corrida Shoes from 1998 to 2000. Matthew then worked as a Production Supervisor at Corning Incorporated and as a Process Engineer at Johnson Matthey from 2000 to 2003. Matthew'scareer at Hays began in 2003 when they joined as a Senior Consultant, specializing in recruitment within the professional service industry. Matthew quickly excelled in this role and became one of the top revenue generators nationally in their first year. Matthew then returned to Johnson Matthey as a Product Specialist before rejoining Hays in 2005. At Hays, they held several positions including Manager, Business Director, Regional Operations Director - APAC, Chief Operating Officer - APAC, Global Managing Director, and Global Managing Director & Group Head of Strategy. In these roles, they were responsible for driving business growth, managing operations, and leading strategic initiatives. In 2015, they also took on the role of Group head of 3 Story Software, a market-leading SaaS vendor management system owned by Hays. In 2020, Matthew joined YPO as a Member. Currently, they serve as the CEO Asia Pacific at Hays, overseeing the company's mission to become the top recruitment and HR services provider in attractive markets worldwide. Matthew Dickason attended Rhodes University from 1994 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Psychology and Philosophy. From 1997 to 1999, they pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at Nelson Mandela University. Between 1988 and 1992, Matthew Dickason attended Alexander Road High, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period. In 2008, they enrolled in Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, where they are currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Post Graduate in Business Administration. Additionally, Matthew Dickason completed a certification course in "Mergers and Acquisitions: Strategy, Execution, and Post-Merger Management" from Harvard Business School in January 2023.
