Britt Thompson

Britt Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Currently, in 2023, they work at 360 Smart Networks as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, they held the position of Senior Service Engineer at Microsoft. Britt had a long tenure at Onepath LLC, starting in 2012 and ending in 2023, where they worked as a Senior Systems Engineer. In this role, they focused on alert first response and remediation, as well as leading and architecting projects with a team of engineers. From 2003 to 2012, Britt served as the Vice President/On-site Engineer at Onyx Consulting, where they managed a team of on-site engineers and were responsible for the company's daily operations, marketing, sales, and development. Additionally, Britt had a role as a Web Designer while self-employed between 2003 and 2012. Prior to that, in 2002, they worked at HP Enterprise Services as an Implementation Technician, and from 1999 to 2001, they held the position of IT Helpdesk Technician at ACE Marketing, Inc. In this role, they managed the ticketing system, deployed system and software patches, and responded to daily helpdesk requests.

Britt Thompson received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Liberal Studies from Oglethorpe University, which they attended from 1998 to 2003. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Digital Multimedia from Atlanta College of Art, where they studied from 2000 to 2003.

In terms of certifications, Britt Thompson holds several Microsoft certifications, including Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (obtained in May 2021), Microsoft Certified IT Professional: Enterprise Messaging Administrator on Exchange 2010 (obtained in September 2013), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows Server 2003 (obtained in May 2004), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Productivity - 2017 (obtained in September 2017), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure (obtained in September 2016), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Productivity (obtained in September 2016), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Server Infrastructure (obtained in October 2013), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Messaging (obtained in September 2016), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint (obtained in November 2014), and Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: Desktop Infrastructure (obtained in January 2014).
