Nathan Anderson is currently the Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Basecamp. Nathan has over 20 years of experience in the IT field. Nathan started their career as a Unix Administrator for Raytheon in 1999. In 2001, they became a Senior Unix Administrator for RSA The Security Division of EMC. Nathan developed Web Clients as interfaces to larger systems using HTML 5 to provide cross-platform mobile clients from operations floor to strategic, high level info-sharing to near real-time messaging. In 2013, they left UPS after 11 years to become a Co-Founder of Qnera LLC. Nathan was with Qnera for 4 years before returning to freelancing in 2017.

Nathan Anderson has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Bethel University.
