Kamran Ahmad is currently a QA Analyst at 3C Institute. Previously, they were the QA Lead at Impulsonic, Inc. from October 2015 to February 2017. In this role, they led basic functionality testing of Impulsonic audio plugins and tested integrations of development software and platforms for compatibility with Phonon plugins. Kamran also created tutorial videos for the Impulsonic YouTube channel on how to use Phonon plugins.
Before joining Impulsonic, Kamran was an Assistant Producer - TV Games at Jakks Pacific from February 2006 to December 2008. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing all aspects of the games in development in Jakks TV Games Department, including gameplay, sound FX, music, control scheme, and graphics. Kamran also created design documents for original, non-licensed games in development and was responsible for asset submissions to licensors for approval to use in games. In addition, Kamran handled ESRB and PEGI ratings submissions for all Jakks titles and produced six titles during their time at the company.
Kamran Ahmad studied sociology as an undergraduate at the University of California, Davis. After graduation, they attended a coding bootcamp at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill to learn full stack web development. Kamran is currently completing a sociology degree at Moorpark College.
