Kelly Fish is the current Director of Design Team at 3C Institute. Prior to that, they worked as a freelance private art instructor and multimedia design specialist.
Fish has always had a passion for art and design. Kelly started their career as a private art instructor, teaching students the basics of drawing, sketching, gesture drawing, line work, shading, composition, and figure drawing. Kelly then transitioned into multimedia design specialist, where they were responsible for creating storyboards, animations, and graphic solutions for education.
Throughout their career, Kelly has gained experience in various aspects of design, including web design, video production, and motion graphics. Kelly has used their skills to produce assets for web and video, including labels, icons, and typography. Her videography skills have also come in handy, shooting and editing instructional videos for courses.
Kelly’s experience and skills have made their an invaluable asset to the 3C Institute team. In their current role as Director of Design Team, they are responsible for leading a team of designers and overseeing all design projects. Under their guidance, the team has produced high-quality designs that have helped the 3C Institute achieve its goals.
Kelly Fish began their educational career by earning a Bachelor's Degree in Art and Design from North Carolina State University. Kelly then continued their education by completing a UX Design program at the NCSU Prague Institute. After that, they completed a Visual Arts program at Weaver Academy for the Performing and Visual Arts. Finally, they earned a certification in 2D Animation Principles from Lynda.com.
They are on a team with Roy Goulet - CTO, Wes Sommer - Director of Video Team, and Steve Grothmann - Director of Project Management. Trey Vanterpool - Graphic & Web Designer, Suzanne Messina - Instructional Designer, and Tamica Phillips - Senior Graphic Designer report to Kelly Fish. Their manager is Melissa DeRosier, CEO.
