Dirk Nel

Dirk Nel is an accomplished operations and project manager with extensive experience in the engineering and project management sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager at 3C Metal since July 2011, Dirk oversees Project Engineers, Project Managers, and Supervisors, ensuring efficient execution of their responsibilities while driving continuous improvement within departmental procedures. Previously, as Lead Project Manager and Project Manager at 3C Metal, Dirk managed critical projects and mentored team members, while also focusing on project specifications, quality control documentation, and adherence to client requirements. Dirk's earlier experience includes a role as a Project Engineer at Gascon (Pty) Ltd, where responsibilities involved preparing engineering packs and ensuring production teams adhered to schedules. Dirk began a career as an M&E CAD Technician at EMCOR Group, Inc., coordinating technical drawings and services.
